SW CASC University Director Named AAAS Fellow!

Please help us in congratulating Dr. Gregg Garfin, SW CASC University Director, for being named a 2020 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The title recognizes important contributions to STEM disciplines, including pioneering research and advancing public understanding of science.

Dr. Garfin is recognized for his contributions in linking fundamental climate and paleoclimate science to climate services and decision making, through climate assessment, knowledge exchange, and the development of translational ecology. Dr. Garfin will be recognized, along with approximately 500 colleagues, during a virtual induction ceremony on Feb. 13, 2021, following the AAAS Annual Meeting.
