Explore Aridification Perceptions at AGU with Our 2023-2024 Natural Resources Workforce Development Fellows!

We are proud to announce that the 2023-2024 Natural Resources Workforce Development (NRWD) Fellows will present their research at the upcoming American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting. Their poster, titled “Perceptions of Aridification and Impacts on Ranchers and Rangeland Managers in the Southwestern United States,” delves into how changing arid conditions are affecting critical land management decisions.

The fellows will be presenting on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 12:20 PM EST at the Washington Convention Center, Hall D (Poster Hall), to engage with this multidisciplinary research effort. The poster session, SY21C: Earth Science Data and Information: Meeting Users' Needs to Amplify Multidisciplinary Science and Support Actionable Information, will provide valuable insights into the ongoing challenges and adaptations faced by ranchers and rangeland managers amid increasing aridification in the Southwest.
