SOUTHWEST CLIMATE ADAPTATION⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ SCIENCE CENTER
Learn about our research priorities for 2025-2030.
The Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center (SW CASC) is a collaborative federal-university partnership between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and a consortium of academic institutions across the U.S. southwest. It is hosted at the University of Arizona, at the Arizona Institute for Resilience, led by Host Institution Director Dr. Aaron Lien and Federal Regional Administrator Dr. Stephanie McAfee.
The Come Rain or Shine podcast returns on November 5! The podcast, which is a collaboration between the SW CASC, Ecoimpact Solutions, and New Mexico State University, highlights stories about recent advances in climate science, weather, climate adaptation, and innovative practices to support resilient landscapes and communities.
Subscribe to our quarterly newsletter to stay up to date on all things SW CASC.
Are you curious about precipitation fluctuations in the southwest and what these changes mean for ecosystems and communities?
The recording and Q&A session from the Friday, April 18th webinar is available.
