The Indigenous Peoples Climate Change Working Group (IPCCWG) gather for a series of virtual meetings to discuss the future generations of Indigenous geoscience professionals, educators, and workforce. An in-person IPCCWG meeting will take place at the National Tribal & Indigenous Climate Conference. The IPCCWG is open to all who share our commitment to strengthening the connections between tribes, TCUs, federal agencies, and NGOs. The June 11th meeting featured speakers included Dr. Wendy Smythe – University of Minnesota - Duluth, and Dr. Jeremy Guinn – United Tribes Technical College.
