Lauren is a Ph.D. student at Colorado State University in the Forest and Rangeland Stewardship. Her research interests include analysis of pre-fire remote sensing data and using aerial systems for monitoring the tree-level effects of fire. She has focused on managing tree drought stress and informing prescribed fire planning. A goal of her dissertation is to develop a multifaceted fire prediction system that incorporates tree-level pre- and post-fire information.
