SWCASC Welcomes Acting Assistant Regional Administrator!

We would like to welcome Tamara Wilson to the SW CASC team! Tamara is a Research Geographer with the USGS Western Geographic Science Center. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from California State University East Bay and her M.A. in Geography from the University of Arizona.  Tamara has worked as the Deputy Director for the USGS National Innovation Center and served as the Coordinator for the USGS's Climate Science Steering Committee. Her expertise is in understanding the impacts of climate change and other stressors on natural systems, and recently, she has served as a policy analyst with the Department of Interior, focused on nature-based solutions to current and future scenarios.
