Research partly funded by SW CSC
A series of research articles on management of giant sequoia forests has been published in Forest Ecology and Management. The issue was edited by Dr. Koren Nydick of the National Park Service.
The research aimed to better understand the effects of droughts on Sierra Nevada forests, and help forest managers improve their knowledge of best practices. The projects were funded by the USGS and the Southwest CSC.
