SW CASC to Lead Workshop at the Fourth Geoscience Alliance National Conference

The Fourth Geoscience Alliance National Conference will be held in Phoenix, AZ, January 31-February 3, 2019. On February 1, from 11-12:15, Althea Walker (SW CASC Tribal Climate Adaptation Science Liason), Dr. Stephen Jackson (SW CASC Federal Director), and Dr. Gregg Garfin (SW CASC University Director) will lead a workshop at the conference entitled “Translational Ecology: where knowledge meets action.” The workshop will bring together knowledge to develop ideas that address the sociological, ecological, and political contexts around the environmental issues we face today.
